We are Creative Campfire - a brother-run filmmaking company that embodies the campfire lifestyle—family, adventure, the beauty of nature, and of course, great storytelling. In 2018, we started Creative Campfire to tell the stories we’ve always had inside of us and the stories we couldn’t ever imagine. Pull up a chair and let us tell you a little story about ourselves.
Our roots run deep in WNC as sixth-generation mountain men and adventure seekers. After a lifetime of exploring, we realized there was nothing we would like better than to make beautiful films that capture the fullness of life. We joined creative forces to do what we love with the people we love and haven’t looked back.
Being outdoors has transformed us and made us who we are. There is nothing more captivating than a sunrise in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the autumn colors, or the last ember of a campfire with friends. Nature is our inspiration and our community is our home. We want to tell stories that inspire people to seek out both.

After traveling the world making snowboarding films, Jake knew he wanted to set up camp in WNC. You can catch this full-time family man being re-energized with his wife and two kids hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains or snowboarding at Cataloochee.
